Today was the first substantial snow of the season. Snow makes me happy. And I love the big flakes that I can catch on my tongue. The real me wishes I can be a kid again and play in the snow. Prolly won’t be enough for snow angels, though…

My first family portrait session and I got payed as well (in delicious lasagna). I was overall calm during this knowing that they were friends and there was no pressure. When I got there I did freak out not knowing where to take the photos or what to do. I’m happy how things turned out considering we probably shot for a total of 15 minutes.
The most challenging part was getting 2 young kids to look anywhere near you.

kids sewing week challenge :: day 2
Saffron Craig fabric from Fabricworm, bought summer 2009. Pattern is view B, "To Tie For" top from www.oliveanndesigns.com. In keeping with the challenge it took just over an hour to complete . . . the problem is I started at midnight!

Question by educated woman: How do you know when you mate is really ready to have kids?
I am 28 yrs old with no kids. My boyfriend has two kids already. I don’t think he is ready to add more kids to his plan or even wants to. He tells me he is ready when i am but i think its just to make me happy. I also feel that my child will never be first in his life. Is that selfish of me? Should I have a baby? I do love him and we been together for 6 yrs now. I just want him to feel financially ready and mentally ready so he can focus on my kid.

I dont know if anyone is ever really ready for a kid, but once they come we fall in love with them and just do the best we can anyway. I think you should go for it!
