My next-door neighbour Kevin just knocked on the door in full body armour – just literally back from Basra in Iraq and he wanted to say hello to Matilda (my dog)! Some kids in the street had seen him come into my place. They knocked on the door asking for his autograph and asking if he was a ‘real’ soldier!

WWPW Bern
Scott Kelby’s worldwide photowalk took us to Bern this saturday. Here we have Bundesplatz where the fountains shooting out of the ground are a big attraction among the kids on hot sunny and as it happened to be, even on cloudy overcast days. Well, they were better equipped then I was, getting my cameras covered in a nice swoop of water…
