Arun showing kids that pythons are friendly. This reticulated python is not fully grown as yet. But he has grown so much in the last few months that Arun is finding him more and more difficult to handle (though Arun is growing pretty fast too)
These pythons can grow to 25 feet or more. While the wild ones can be pretty aggressive and dangerous, the captive ones are generally gentle. While they are not considered endangered, they are sought after for their leather and meat.
While reticulated pythons hold the record for being the longest snake, they are not the largest. That credit goes to Green Anaconda.
The python can go without food for months on end. In captivity, many of them are force fed.

Today I decided to investigate why all of the girls under age 14 are walking around the Grove carrying these creepy dolls.

I must say what I found was so disturbing I had to go home (check the notes). Each of these dolls costs (at least) which means the grand total of dolls in this collage here is about 8 million dollars.
We are fortunate to have an American Girl Place here in LA, only one of three in the country. Woo hoo! (There is a hair salon, a movie theater, a hospital, and a restaurant/cafe inside).

As much as a I try to advocate against it, I constantly see my kids eating McDonald’s or eating the terrible food served at their cafeteria. What can I do as a father, or have them do in order to get them to make better choice for their bodies?
