A woman and her kids walk along the slums of Morro da Babilônia. The dog didn’t seem to belong to them but followed them – maybe hoping for a food handout.

I taught my son a valuable lesson today: In the interest of being a kid, it is okay to get your shoes wet.

My favorite Christmas ornament. My grandparents owned a gift shop in the 1950′s, selling many cute figurines, including this anthropomorphic fellow, a Candy Cane Kid by Lefton. As a little boy I used to hang him on our family Christmas tree.

Skateboarders Walking through Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NYC

Took this over the Summer. Unfortunately, it was taken in JPEG form so it was hard to use the HDR effect on it. Still feel the picture captures the hipster/skateboarder style of young New Yorker’s. Kids that grow up in NYC in my eyes are much different than other kids in America. Although, NYC is different than any other place I’ve ever experienced in the world. So I suppose it’s fitting.

Shot with one exposure in JPEG. Again, shooting in JPEG really limited what I could do with this picture. I extracted 3 images from one and changed the exposure on each (-2,0,+2). I hope you enjoy.
